Phil Buzzette

Founder, Blue Harbor Home Life

Blue Harbor was born from my own family’s experience. When my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer while my mother continued to face significant health challenges of her own, I saw firsthand how difficult it can be to help loved ones remain safe and independent at home.

I experienced the constant effort required to coordinate appointments, manage a household, solve everyday problems, and keep family members informed—all while trying to preserve each person’s independence and dignity.

That experience became the foundation for Blue Harbor Home Life. I realized that many people do not necessarily need medical or personal care. Sometimes, they simply need a dependable person who can provide practical assistance, companionship, organization, and help coordinating the everyday details that make living at home more difficult.

Today, I bring my professional experience in service leadership, continuous improvement, and customer support back to my own community—helping individuals maintain their independence while giving their families greater confidence, visibility, and peace of mind.

What Would Make Life at Home Easier?

Begin with a conversation about what is happening at home and what kind of support would be most helpful.

Experience Built Around Service

Before founding Blue Harbor, Phil spent nearly two decades working in technology and service leadership, including global service management at Amazon. His career has focused on understanding customer needs, coordinating people and resources, improving service delivery, managing risk, and creating dependable processes.

Blue Harbor brings those same professional standards closer to home, applying them to the practical, everyday needs of individuals and families throughout the community.

Personal

We take the time to understand each person’s routines, preferences, and priorities, then build support around their life at home.

Dependable

We follow through on what we say we’ll do so clients and families know what’s been handled and what comes next.

Transparent

With the client’s permission, authorized family members receive clear updates about services, requests, and upcoming needs.

Respectful

We support independence by respecting each person’s choices, privacy, and control over their home and daily routines.

Always Improving

We listen to feedback and continually look for small ways to make our support more useful, organized, and responsive.

The Blue Harbor Approach

We don’t believe every household needs the same list of services. Sometimes the need is help with laundry or groceries. Sometimes it’s getting a television working, organizing appointments, coordinating a contractor, spending time together over coffee, or simply having a dependable person nearby when family can’t be.

That’s why Blue Harbor starts with a conversation rather than a one-size-fits-all package. We learn what is happening at home, identify what would make everyday life easier, and determine how we can help—either directly or by coordinating the right resource.

The goal is simple: help people maintain independence while giving families greater confidence, visibility, and peace of mind.

What Blue Harbor Is

Blue Harbor provides non-medical practical support including companionship, organization, household assistance, technology help, errands, family communication, and coordination of outside service providers.

What Blue Harbor Is Not

We do not provide skilled nursing, medical care, medication administration, personal hygiene assistance, physical transfers, or licensed trade work. When a need falls outside our scope, we help identify or coordinate an appropriate resource instead of doing work we are not qualified or authorized to provide.
